Is it true that you’ll be shutting down the foundation by 2015? there’s still a lot of kids who need the help. I also benefited from the spk scholarship in my younger years. My Sponsor was Mrs. Keiko Hayashibara I wanted to thank her for the help she gave me even though I lost the scholarship when I went to high school because I fell below the required grade average due to some personal issues. But I am still thankful. So I hope someone who knows my sponsor might be able to read this and pass along my words of gratitude even if it was a long time ago

Hi everyone! I’m also an SPK scholar (H group) from high school until college. I feel the same sentiments like what the author have written. I’m currently taking my MA at Miriam College and I have a project to undertake that deals with adopting an organization. I will make a phone call later and ask Fr Nishimoto if I could have SPK as my subject. It will be also a good opportunity for me to ask your questions if I get to visit the office. ^_^

FYI – the general assembly of scholars, which is held every other year, is postponed this year.

Nice to hear your comments and stories my fellow SPK scholars. Honestly, I have no more communication to the foundation. As much as I want to contact my sponsor, I don’t think the foundation would allow us. Will they?

It’s so good to know my fellow scholars are on the net,,,,, Im from Baguio and I graduated in Saint Louis University …. the last time i joined the CAR scholars way back October 2009, there were more scholars now than during my time… And i was really very happy to know that the scholarship was extended to Nueva Vizcaya and Isabela…. Hello…its nice to know that there are many scholars of Salamat po kai.. I’m also the first beneficiaries of Salamat po kai in Ateneo de Naga (1993-1997). Thanks to my benefactor Ms. Hidaka Kanako who is 3 years Older than me, from Kyoto and taking up Medical Technician in Kyoto University…we lost contact when I entered PMA in 1997…Everything I achieved was because of her and the organization…with the nature of my training and work, I wasn’t able to say THANK YOU, since i don’t have her address or even the address of the organization…with this, I hope I could say THANK YOU to ALL BENEFACTORS and to the organization…I hope that I can find the missing link of the organization..
